PDCRS provides supports and services to children and families, youth, adults and seniors throughout the South Okanagan and Similkameen. In 2016 PDCRS will be celebrating 50 years of community service.
We seek volunteers for a limited number of Board positions. This year our search is focused on those with child development, youth engagement, housing and/or fundraising expertise. The ideal candidate:
- is committed to the PDCRS mission and values
- is willing to provide six to eight hours a month of their time and talents
The PDCRS Board provides vision and strategic direction to over 20 diverse social and health programs in south Okanagan-Similkameen communities. Services include: Little Triumphs and Tuc El Nuit, Hand in Hand (infants/toddlers) and After School (school-age) care for children; a wide range of supports for families; Paper Shuffle and handyDART for adults with disabilities; Better at Home and Out and About for seniors.
We welcome those from all parts of our community and particularly encourage people from our smaller communities, First Nations and rural areas to apply.
